The Labyrinth: Pathway to Understanding
In the rush of our modern lives, finding moments for ourselves - moments that offer stillness, reflection, and renewal - is increasingly difficult. We often feel off balance and adrift within society and ourselves.

As an alternative, discover the labyrinth at First Church. A labyrinth walk in candlelight and quiet can help you…

  • Relax from the daily
      pressures of life

  • Regain your spiritual base

  • Reconnect with the mystery
      of creation

  • Restore your spiritual nature

  • The labyrinth is not a maze. Mazes challenge our logical minds and offer a choice of paths with trick corners and blind alleys. The labyrinth is a pathway with one point of entry and exit. Its set path guides you to and from a divine center, with sheltered spaces along the way where you can pause to reflect and meditate.

If you wish to experience a labyrinth as you seek a personal world filled with light, joy, possibility, and peace, the labyrinth at First Church is open the first Thursday of each month from 11am to 7pm in Room 205. A guide greets you, provides an overview of the experience, and helps you get started.
