AWOK's: Adults Without Kids
The First Church AWOKs are members of our church family who have grown children in or out of the house, or no children at all, and who have the time and desire to do "neat" things together. It is an inclusive group of singles, couples, adult children, friends, relatives, in-laws and outlaws - all are welcome!

Throughout the year, AWOKs offer a large variety of events in which adults can choose to participate - things like after-worship brunches at local restaurants, pot luck dinners, pool parties, and fish fries in the homes of members. Additional AWOK activities have included:

Powder and Chowder (Cross-country skiing, hiking, or just having fun in the snow)

Great American Brass Band Festival at Centre College, Danville, Kentucky

Visiting Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob buildings in western Pennsylvania

Hale Farm Tour

Strongsville Band Concerts

Huntington, West Virginia Train Tour

Rainforest at the Zoo

Lolly the Trolly Ride through Cleveland

Bravo Broadway at Blossom

Amish Country Dinner and Tour

Oglesby, West Virginia Christmas Lights Tour
