Rev. Deborah E. Gorman Minister of Christian Education & Programming Deb holds a Master of Arts and Religion and Christian Education and Theology degree from Ashland Seminary in Ashland, Ohio. Her B.A. degree in Medieval History was attained at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut. She was ordained to the Order of Deacon in 2002. |
A member of the staff of First Church since 1994, Deb leads the planning for new program development for adults and children, ongoing Christian education for all ages, and the nurturing and care of all members of our church family
Deb's certifications include: Laboratory (older Elementary and Intergenerational) and Seminar Leader in The United Methodist Church, Christian Educator in The United Methodist Church, Myers-Briggs Type Inventory administer and interpreter, and Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator.
