Wrenches, hammers, pliers - tools - the kind that sound substantial and heavy. They come in various shapes and sizes and now, thanks to LowesŪ and Home DepotŪ, they even come in colors. Wow! Sounds a lot like our First Church membership!
At First Church we are lucky to have so many "tools" as resources to build upon the foundation that exists today at E. 30th and Euclid. Whether we are building with wood and brick to renovate the church's house on E. 109th, or using flour and sugar to bake a pie for our marvelous Christmas Pie Concerts, or creating fellowship when we greet a new visitor with a smile, or laughing as we delight in the joy of our ever-growing youth and children's ministries, or praying as we always do for each other and the world in which we live - these are the tools we are using to build something wonderful at First Church.
God has blessed us to have First United Methodist Church - with all of its tools - in Cleveland.
