The congregation of First Church is a diverse, open, inclusive, caring, risk-taking, multi-cultural congregation - one unlike virtually any other in Greater Cleveland. Each worship service at First Church belies the statement that Sunday mornings are the most segregated hours in America.

This family of faith comes from all over Cleveland and surrounding counties - on Sunday mornings and throughout the week - to share in the life of this exciting, dynamic downtown church. Members consciously choose to drive beyond their neighborhoods - some for more than 40 minutes - to worship at First Church.
